There are dozens of national conferences for Children’s Ministry leaders each year, but few are as large or well planned as this one. Here is a highlight video from the 2009 conference with some information about 2010. You can also visit their official website for more information. I have never been, but would love to hear feedback if you attended this event in the past. Just leave a comment at the bottom of this post.

When & Where?

January 4-7, 2010 – Nashville, TN at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel and Conference Center

San Diego, CA – March 14-17, 2010 at the Town & Country Hotel and Conference Center

How Much Does The Conference Cost?

Registration is around $500, but they have discounts for early bird, students, and groups. This fee includes most meals but not lodging or travel. The good news is that Phil Vischer has posted some tips for saving money at the conference.

Between conf costs, hotel, and travel, you can count on spending around $1,500 for this conference. I went in 2008 to San Diego and I do not regret it. It was a great launchpad concerning getting a precis from the experts on family ministry. Also helped to meet people personally. Well worth the cost if you can afford it. I have heard that Nashville is awesome as well.

Hi, i have been to 5 or more children’s pastors conferences. However God has moved me and my family to help start a new church. The church does not have the money to send me. I was planning on paying for this myself.however, i have been very sick this last month and not been able to work.I have even been in the hospital for a week. If there is any help given for part payments PLEASE CONSIDER ME. This conference is the BEST. It helps me to keep growing each yr.

Geofrey,

You should contact the conference leaders directly at http://www.incm.org to receive an answer to that question as they would be better able to answer it. Blessings!
