Podcast #2: Children's Ministry Advice for the Long Haul

Print Friendly and PDF

What kind of advice do you wish future-you could give current-you right now?
Of course, you can’t even guess and that’s just the problem with hindsight.  Sometimes life and ministry are like walking backwards. The best way to get insight is calling out to people who have been on the journey longer than you. I especially like to hear from leaders who have moved ahead, but are still close enough to see what I’m stepping in.
That’s why I scheduled this podcast with 13 year kids ministry veteran Sam Luce. If you want to thrive in ministry over the long haul, then you’ll want to listen in on our conversation.

sam-luce-blogIn this episode, Sam tells how a simple misunderstanding led him to serve in kids ministry. Then we talked about staying motivated over the long haul. I also asked about his innovative Bible Bucks web app before moving on to reader questions from Facebook & Twitter.
The music sample in this podcast is from Seeds Family Worship. I’m scheduling a future podcast to talk with them.
I’d love to hear your feedback on these audio interviews. Just leave a comment below to let me know what you think. You can also leave a note to tell Sam you appreciate his advice.
