One way I try to keep current in children’s ministry is by reading all the major websites and blogs that cover the field. I often run across some great articles that I want to pass along to my readers. Please leave a comment or email me (TonyKummer@gmail.com) if you find this new feature helpful.
Free Mp3 Audio Bible Stories For Children
Christian Communicators Online has posted some children’s Bible stories in audio format.
Grandmother and experienced Bible teacher Joelee Chamberlain originally recorded these audio overviews of books of the Bible for her grandchildren, in an effort to help them understand the chronology of the Bible. . . We’ve found that children between the ages of 5 and 10 like them best, though younger children will probably enjoy them in the car or at nap time (many have trouble sitting still to listen at other times.)
Stories include: The Book of Genesis, God the Builder (argument from design for children), The Book of Exodus, The Books of Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy, The Book of Joshua, Judges and Ruth, 1 Samuel, The Life of Jesus, Acts.
