Blessings, am looking for some guidance, am not sure what would be a good VBS for us to use this year with the Kids, last year we did KINGDOM of the SON, awesome, but this year, so confused, A lot of People recommend “Nazareth” any feed back of it? We will be doing a Week (night time VBS) help needed.

My husband and I were group leaders for VBS last year and our 3 yr old son was able to participate for the first time. He absolutely loved it!! He still wants to sing the song, but it’s been so long ago we have started to forget some. We went through Egypt with Joseph last year. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can get ahold of these songs? I have looked all over the website and I can’t find the list of songs, or a place to order a cd or anything. I would love to start him a collection of his VBS songs each year. If you have any suggestions for me please email me at gillaspyleah@yahoo.com.

Is anyone interested is selling their Egypt VBS program. I’d like to do it at our church this year. We did a different theme last year and I’d like to do the Egypt VBS this summer.

Our church is doing this theme as well; however, I am unsure why this is a theme for Bible school. I am in charge of all Arts & Crafts, as well as decorations, and I’m not sure there’s much I can do without offending someone. I think it’s very strange to use this as a theme for VBS because the ancient Egyptians worshipped different gods. I don’t really care, but I know where I live, people can get very over-sensitive about stuff like this. Any suggestions?

If you’re looking for a better preschool option for your Egypt VBS you may want to check out Joseph in Egypt Preschool VBS from Christian Ed. Publishers. Written especially for 2- to 5-year-olds, this five-day preschool VBS program includes Bible stories, snacks, crafts, and games with reproducible student sheets and colorful visuals. Book and CD-ROM or download. Your little ones can travel to the Marketplace before the older children but can also enjoy the stories of Joseph (from prison to palace) written at their own level.
