Gold Rush VBS is the new theme for 2011 Vacation Bible School from Answers in Genesis. Their curriculum in know for it’s emphasis on creation science and apologetics. Since 2007, AIG has build a strong following with their materials. Lynda Freeman even ranked this the #5 Vacation Bible School curriculum for this year. Click here to read her detailed review.
I didn’t get time to test out this VBS theme like I planned, but I didn’t want it to be wasted. So this post is your chance share a comment. Just watch the video below and leave your opinion about the theme.

I just completed the drawing and the random winner was comment #107 – Brenda Langan. Thanks to everyone who left all the wonderful feedback.
The Western theme is fun to decorate for. From the video, I especially liked the student activity books and the Bible verse posters.
It’s actually awesome. I’d like to win that kit, really. But it would be greedy to have gotten all of those as I am only wanting a kit to minister to one child – my “almost 2 years old” daughter. I’m living in the states now and I don’t have a lot of acquaintances or I have not known many kids in my neighborhood to minister to. I just want to have free stuff for ages 2s and 3s.
looks to have everything to get us started. here in Texas the kids should really dig it!!
I have been very impressed with Answers in Genesis! So glad to get a peek into their VBS materials. Thanks for sharing!
I am directing VBS for our church this year and am a veteran VBS volunteer/crew/station leader. I’ve been looking for something in-depth that addresses world science vs. Biblical truth realities, but that’s also creative and fun (not heavy-handed or too “wordy”). This VBS program looks like it might be it. I only just found out about it through your Ministry-To-Children website yesterday. It would definitely be God at work if you pick my post to win it! Thank you for providing a central place for so many wonderful resources!!
What an amazing program! I would love to have something this detailed and complete to do for our community this year. We reach some of the children in our area only during VBS. What a wonderful opportunity to leave an impression that could change their lives forever!
