A few weeks back I was brainstorming a new game idea that ties together a spiritual lesson with some of the fun of March Madness. I came up with an object lesson I’m calling “The Impossible Game.” The aim is to show kids that none of us can perfectly keep Jesus’ commands. But the Gospel promises us the forgiveness of God and the practical help to live according to his teachings.
Feel free to modify the game to fit your ministry context. You could take it several different directions. Done correctly, this could be a powerful object lesson about needing Jesus help to obey the Bible. Leave a comment below to share any suggestions for other readers.
