In the beginning, I mainly wanted to get my health under control. I had not idea that habits of self-control and positive action would make such a difference in my ministry.
Here are a few things I’ve noticed since the change:
- I have more energy (super important in children’s ministry)
- Stress doesn’t bring me down
- Running often becomes a prayer retreat
- I feel so much younger, even though I am only 35 years old
