I’m still not sure exactly how to describe the Memory Cross fold-out cards. They are an innovative product that help kids learn the Bible. They are interactive and really hard to put down. Just last week, they good people at Memory Cross sent me another set to giveaway here on the website.
I spent some time going through my sample kit and started getting excited about this product. I can imagine how much fun our church kids would have using them. Memory Cross makes a variety of different cards. They have Bible verse cards, Gospel witnessing cards, craft cards, and even custom cards if you need something special.
What really started me thinking was their nifty Halloween Cards. They are made to hand out with candy to kids doing Trick or Treat. They would be the perfect add-on to your church’s Trunk or Treat outreach.

“Delight yourself in the Lord,
and He will give you
the desires of your heart.”
(Psalm 37:4, NIV)
Throw my name in the hat, Tony. That was easy. Choosing just one verse is a little harder. I usually like to emphasize (among other things, of course) the certainty of death and judgment, so I’ll go with Hebrews 9:27:
…it is appointed for man to die once, and after that comes judgment
Great contest. Thanks Tony!
“He made Him who knew no sin to become sin on our behalf, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.” 2 Cor. 5:21
Hey there! Thanks for the offer! My favorite verse is 1 John 1:9, but here it is a little longer in the Message. “If we claim that we’re free of sin, we’re only fooling ourselves. A claim like that is errant nonsense. On the other hand, if we admit our sins—make a clean breast of them—he won’t let us down; he’ll be true to himself. He’ll forgive our sins and purge us of all wrongdoing. If we claim that we’ve never sinned, we out-and-out contradict God—make a liar out of him. A claim like that only shows off our ignorance of God.” (1 John 1:8-10, The Message)
This would be really helpful and inspirational for our kids. We have an adult evangelism ministry. The kids are constantly asking when they can really learn how to do it. I pray we get selected.
Dear Tony;
I’m an elementary school teacher and just found your site after a dear friend wrote to me today explaining how her 6 year old granddaughter told her she wanted to be the devil for Halloween. This little girl is being raised by non-believer parents and attends public school. Thankfully, my friend is the child’s grandmother and has been bringing this little girl to Sunday school at her church for several years now so this little girl has come to love Jesus – she just hasnt learned about who the devil is yet. So, I looked up – ‘How to teach children about who the devil is…’ online, and found your website with a lesson plan which I forwarded to my friend.
I subscribed to your website and would like an opportunity to try to win on one of the Memory Cross kits. My favorite bible verse is:
It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man…
Psalms 118:8
…still the best and most true advice I’ve ever received in my whole life – this one is solid gold – Amen!
Blessings! Nina Willis
This is cool!
My fave verse to share is Eph. 2:8-9
Thanks!

29The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, “Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!
Thank God for Jesus!
Why not just start with John 3:16? When you understand the love the God has for us, everthing else just falls into place!!
Jeremiah 29:11
– For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
The kids would love this…. My favorite verse is: The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him. Psalms 28:7
Thank you.
Romans 8:28 “We know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him”. We are dealing with a lot of unsettling changes at our church, but I know that God’s hand is at work.
I would love to have these for our youth groups, what a great product!
“the Lord is my inheritance, therefore, I will hope in him,” Lamentations 3:24
Hi, my favorite verse to start with is Romans 5:8 “But God demonstrates his own love towards us in this: while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” Our Awana kids love Memory Cross fold out cards!
God demonstrated his love to us in this way: while we were STILL sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8
I’ve never seen these cards before. We are doing a unit right now on being bold in sharing your faith … these would make an excellent addition to that study!
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not rely on your own insight. (Proverbs 3:5)
Awesome Contest! Thank you…
Memory Crosses is a fantastic tool for sharing the gospel. I received a sample pack once for Valentines Day. I could only show the samples to our Sunday School group because we had a large group that came to SS that day but the children came up with the idea of going to the park and handing them out to other children. What a wonderful gift if I win this giveaway.
My favorite memory verse is Psalms 119:105 Thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path
Thank you for blessing all of us with your words of encouragement and great ideas! It’s good to not feel alone in ministry even if we’re just electronically connected.

Ephesians 3:20-21 Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. AMEN!
I would love to win these for our church. My favorite verse is the good old faithful:John 3:16- For God so Loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, so that who so ever believed in him shall not perish but have everlasting life.
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all of your ways acknowledge him and he will make your path straight.” Proverbs 3:5-6
Isaiah 46:4 – Even in your old age and grey hairs I am he, I am he who will sustain you. I have made you and will carry you; I will sustain you and I will rescue you.
My favorite verse is one I was taught when i was a child. Yesterday at Wacky Wednesday Children’s afterschool program we taught the child it. I brought great joy to hear my children repeating it:
“The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want…” Pslams 23:1
But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
1 John 1:7
For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us. So that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. 2 Cor. 5:21 (You can teach the kids to sing this to the tune of “Deep and Wide”)
I would love to win ! this would be a great tool for our kids to learn scriptures.
Commit your works to the Lord, And your thoughts will be established.
Proverb16:3
My favorite verse is 1 John 4: 7-8
Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God: and everyone that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.
He that loveth not knoweth not God for God is love.
(I believe that if more people lived by these vereses this world would be a better place to live in.)
Thanks for all you do….
Romans 5:8 – But God commendeth his love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Be Blessed!
P.S. Welcome to Facebook!
Romans 15:13 May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Is one of my favorites that I have to remind myself of often :0) and that I like to share with others!
I LOVE the idea of the Memory Cross cards but have never had the funds to use them too much for ministry. If I had to pick 1 verse for sharing the Gospel, I would say, “This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.” I John 4:10.
1 John 3:1
How great is the love the Father has lavished on us that we should be called children of God.
Wow!!! All the great things you are doing, God I’m sure is pleased with your great work you are doing for all!
My favorite verse is Proverbs 1:2 To know wisdom and instruction; to perceive the words of understanding.
The Lord will guide you continually, and satisfy your soul in drought, and strengthen your bones; you shall be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail. Isaiah 58:11, NKJV
Some of our pastors use the Memory Cross business cards. Nice to see that the company is marketing for children.
Blessings on your ministry!
But God put his love on the line for us by offering his Son in sacrificial death while we were of no use whatever to him. Romans 5:8
Memory cards sound like a great resource. Put me in the draw.
Verse for sharing the gospel with Christians in relapse. 2 Corinthians 4:6-9
6 For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ. 7 But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us. 8 We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; 9 persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed.
Hello Tony, My name is Sally and I am from the Philippines, I donot know how will I get the Memory Cross as your mailing is limited only in the USA, though I have a daughter in San Diego that maybe you can mail it to if ever I got the chance to win the Memory Cross. Our church JESUS, the CROWN OF GLORY CHRISTIAN CHURCH is a new church here in Olongapo City, Philippines, we will celebrate our first year this coming December. By the way I am one of the leaders attending to the kids schooling. We have about 50-70 children attending our Kidzone Network Center, (Sunday school for the kids) and we also have Kidzone cell group in different places, a sattelite church in different barangays here in Olongapo City. Our kids are very enthusiastic when it comes to learning more about our Lord Jesus Christ and this gives us an inspiration to really work for the glory and kingdom of God. However, we are limited in our materials in teaching these children. I would like to request if you have old Daily Vacation Bible School materials that you are no longer using, we would very much appreciate if you can donate some to us. In oUr DVBS this year which was held last May 14-16 2009, we targeted 120 kids and God really worked because we have about 150 kids that have attended the DVBS. And there are parents of these kids that have accepted our Lord Jesus after evangelizing them. Praise God for all of these wonderful things that He’s been doing in our church.
My favorite verse now specifically a one-verse evangelism verse is Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus, our Lord” This verse just like John 3:16, is a powerful verse for evangelizing non-believers as every word of this verse is very meaningful if explained one by one.
Hopefully, I can win this contest, God willing. My daughter’s name and address is: SHEILA AQUINO, 1931 F. Avenue #12, National City, California, 91960, Phone number 619-313-838.
Thank you Tony specially for this website that you are sharing your teaching lessons to us. I have been using some of your teaching/preaching lessons. May God Bless you more as you are also a blessing to others.

Having just retired from 32 years of teaching 5th grade, I have been able to work more with children at our small rural church where I have directed the music program and played for the services for over 30 years. I’m always looking for great ideas, and your willingness to share your terrific ones has been such a blessing to my children and me!!! I look forward to receiving the newsletter every week and love the idea of the Memory Cross cards.
I have so many favorite verses but will share the first one that comes to mind: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” Philippians 4:13
Thank you for your generous offer, and God bless your ministry!
Becky Hogan
My favorite verse is Proverbs 22:6.
“Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.”
I would love this item. I am part of a very small church, so funds are limited. Thank you and may God bless you all.
My favorite verse is Romans 10:9. What we believe it is necessary we confess so faith can be increased in the Lord. We recently started the church, very few in number, and would like to have this material. Please respond on my cell phone 215-900-2914. I would also like to get some information regarding sunday school lessons. thank you God bless you . Please pray for us we are about to start an orphanage in New Delhi, India.
My fav verse is joshua 24:15d
But has for me and my house we will serve the Lord.
This verse is a tremendous strength to my family. My husband is the pastor and my kids are some how serving in the church. I thank the Lord for His strength.
Esther
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the father except through me.” John 14:6 I love using this verse when we talk about salvation. What it is and why we HAVE to HAVE it.
When I teach about Salvation I use 5 clear glasses, food color, and water. I have the food color drops already put int he bottom of the glasses. Black represents sin, red- the blood of Jesus, clear- (no food color) being cleansed by the blood, green- growing your relationship with God, Yellow(or as the kids in my class like to call it Gold)- heaven. As I talk about each one I pour the water in that cup. It gives the kids something visual to look at to help capture their attention.
To God be the glory!!!
Count me in!
I don’t really have a favorite for sharing the Gospel, but this is one I like:
Rom 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
“But God commendeth his love towards us in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8
In preschool we like to keep the Gospel message simple: “For God so loved the world that he gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes shall not perish but have everlasting life.” John 3:16
I am a recent subscriber to your newsletter and the reference last week to Trunk or Treat inspired me to get going and plan on this event for our church. It’s been years since we did this at our last church and I am so excited to be a part of it again!!
2 Cor 4:18 ‘We fix our eyes not on what is seen, but what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal,
thanks for the chance to try something new!
I don’t have a favorite verse, but one of the top verses is
“Do not by anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Phil 4:5-7
My favorite verse for sharing the gospel is John 3:16
Thanks
Rachel
Nehemiah 8:10 NIV
… the joy of the LORD is your strength.
Thanks for the offer. I have long been keeping and committing the Roman road to memory and enjoy the promises of Romans “because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. For the Scripture says, “Everyone who believes in him will not be put to shame.”
(Rom 10:9-11 ESV)
. But I also live upon the verses following Jeremiah 29:11, that is;”Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you. You will seek me and find me. When you seek me with all your heart, I will be found by you, declares the LORD,”
(Jer 29:12-14a ESV)
Thank you so much for the offer. My husband and I have just recently started working with the Kindergarten class at our church and it has been such a blessing to us. Through teaching the kids we have learned so much and our faith has grown sooo much more than I ever imagined. Jesus asks us to “come to him as children” I believe that whole heartedly now. Those little ones are so innocent and trusting and eager to learn, just like we should be!
Joshua 1:9
“Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.”
My favorite verse to use with kids is :
John 3:16
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
Thanks for your helpful hints and thanks for giving me this opportunity to win a great object lesson.

This would be a great addition to a new start children’s program!
My favorite verse is Psalm 50:15 “Call upon me in your day of trouble. I will deliver you and you will glorify Me.”
Great Website. One of my favorite verses to share in witnessing, or otherwise is Romans 5:8. Thank you for your ministry.
I just recently found this site and have been impressed so far. Keep up the good work in His name!
Romans 12:1-2 is sort of my mantra and a very critical place to start. However if anybody misses the fact that it’s about a relationship, then all is lost. So I often will relate to Matthew 7:21-23 (ESV): “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’
Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. (KJV)
- John 15:13
psalms 23 is my favorite verse and I read this every morning. I started a children ministries and I would like some more info and to also be enter in the drawing.
I love finding new, cool ways to share the gospel w/kids! Of course the very first verse all our kids learn…John 3:16, then Romans 8:28!
Looking for things to do for the fall with our church. My favorite verse is Matthew 6:25+26, “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?” NIV
Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it. — Proverbs 22:6
I am using your lessons with the Big Picture Bible in my small multi-age Sunday School class and they are GREAT! I love the illustrations in the book and the kids really get into the simplicity of how the stories are told! Thanks for putting these wonderful ideas on the web for the rest of us to use.
My favorite verse is “I will praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful…” Psalms 139:14 NIV Ilove my Big Picture Bible you recommended on yur website.
1 John 4:14
(And we have seen and testify that) the Father has sent his Son to be the Savior of the world.
also, John 3:16-17
JOHN 3:16 FOR GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD THAT HE GAVE HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON THAT WHOSOEVER BELIEVETH IN HIM SHALL HAVE ETERNAL LIFE
May God continue to bless you for all the great work you are doing. Your website has been a blessing to me. Continue the good work. God Bless!! My favorite verse is John 15:15 “I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you.”
Oh…my favorite Bible verse for sharing the Gospel…John 3:16!
As a children’s pastor, I read this verse daily…”Let us not grow weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” Galations 6:9
My verse 2John 6 ..and this is love we walk in obedience, the children in the o-zone children church recite it every Sunday..Thank You so much
