"My God Is So BIG" Song for Preschool Children

Print Friendly and PDF

One of the best ways to teach preschoolers about God is through singing. Preschool songs about God can help them learn and keep them moving during those hours in Sunday School or Preschool Church. Here is one of my favorite “God-centered” songs for preschool children from Cullen’s Abc’s (a great video blog for preschool songs).

“My God Is So Big” Preschool Song With Hand Motions

Lyrics To “My God Is So Big”

My God is so Big,
So strong and so mighty,
There’s nothing my God can not do.

(clap – clap)

My God is so Big,
So strong and so mighty,
There’s nothing my God can not do.

(clap – clap)

The mountains are His,
The rivers are His,
The stars are His handiwork too.

My God is so Big,
So strong and so mighty,
There’s nothing my God can not do — for you!

This song was written by Ruth Calkin and is listed in the CCLI database. For information on it’s copyright contact Bonnie Knopf.

Singing This Preschool Song About God

This is the kind of song that would be helpful to have on standby in any preschool Sunday school class. You could teach it during a time of worship, or use it when you have some extra time. Just watch the video from Cullen and be ready to sing this Sunday.

If you liked My God is So Big, you might also enjoy Jesus Loves Me (This I Know) Song, another video by Cullen. Here’s the link to her whole catalog of spiritual songs for children.
