by Tony Kummer | Go Fish VBS,Podcasts,VBS 2011 Themes | Print Print | Email

Last year our church tried out a new VBS program from the Go Fish Guys. They are a Christian music group known for their appeal to children and families. Overall, I was very impressed with the debut effort at Bible School curriculum.

In this interview, I talk with Jamie Statema who is the founding member of Go Fish. I ask about their VBS programs and future plans. You’ll learn what motivates their ministry and why they’re producing Vacation Bible School materials.

Their new theme was just chosen by our readers as the “Most Appealing 2011 VBS Theme.”

You can learn more about Go Fish on their official website, Facebook page, YouTube channel, or Jamies’s blog.

I really enjoyed this podcast. I heard Go Fish for the first time at the 2010 CPC (San Diego) and was blown away by the talent of this group. I have since bought every single one of their CD’s (and they are all equally as outstanding). I give their CD’s as kids’ birthday party presents…and invariably get asked by the receiving family about where they can buy more CD’s.

My 6 yr old son knows every word of every Go Fish CD by heart!

I really appreciated learning about the history of Go Fish and their vision for VBS. I look forward to taking a look at their VBS curriculum.

Thanks so much for doing this podcast!
