After using their first two themes in our church, I am excited about this one too. Here are three quick reasons why I love Go Fish VBS.
- It’s an evangelistic program. There are only a few others companies out there that still try to win kids for Jesus. Sad, but true.
- It’s real music. While most publishers are working to make acceptable music, people have been buying Go Fish music for years. Not to mention their concerts rock.
- They actually use the Bible. Another obvious idea, but it’s very rare for kids to open a printed Bible in most VBS programs.

I am afraid of the dance moves for this one…the Kickin It one was way too complicated for the teacher (me!) and the kids. Yikes! If we did this one, I’d for sure beg to get it way ahead so I can simplify and memorize moves.
I got the Kickin It dvd about 3 months in advance so I could get the moves down. I had a hard time with some things getting it memorized but my 11 year old had no problem at all. Within a week she had them down. We start a month a head of time teaching the moves to our Sunday school kids so at least some of the kids have a handle on it before it all starts. But they all really did a good job getting the motions down by the end of the week.
This one does make me wonder what the moves will be like. Surely not exactly what the dancers on here are doing.
This new VBS sounds soooooo exciting!!! I can’t wait to see the other songs on the docket!! I soooooo wish we could do this one, but this year, we did Backstage with the Bible and I also bought the Kickin It package for Summer 2012. I may just buy the music for your new program and start using that in Kidz Church throughout the year. My kidz church kids LOVE your music!!!
I like this, can’t wait until the CD comes out for I can enjoy it just as the kids will. Since I’m still a Kid At Heart…God Bless you guys for the work you are doing for our Future—the Kids .
