This is it! I am praying about starting a puppet ministry in Lesotho. We are working for Mission Aviation Fellowship in Lesotho, a little country surrounde by South Africa. It would be awesome to receive help to start this and be on the wright track with puppet shows. We have received a donation from Youth for Christ for puppets (a few) and a puppet theatre, and would love to start a ministry where streat kids could be reached with the love of Jesus! We are a interdenominational church and I am coordinating Sunday School here. I have learned a lot by reading your newsletters and I hope so much we could make this happen. We have a church website.

Our new pastor’s two teenage girls are anxious to get working with children in our community. They have been trained in puppet ministry so this would be a good ministry for them to use with our younger children and even get the teens in our youth group involved.

Our Sunday School program is being revised. We want to use puppets and we do have some but we do not have any puppet scripts and no clue how to get started at writing a script. I feel this is a God appointed competition for me, as sometime ago, I was able to purchase a set of puppets at a really good price. Unfortunately I did not know what to do with them and they have been sitting in my cupboard all this time. I teach the 3-4 year old group and I know a puppet show would really capture their attention and teach them in a way I could never.
Your site has been blessing us for sometime now and I just wanted to say THANK-YOU. Thanks for the work you do, i have benefited from your Newsletters, I always utilise them in my sunday school lessons. I am a sunday school teacher in a new church that is just 6months old. The Lord has been good to us though we have some challenges we have seen many come to Christ and be healed in a structure that is not attractive for some people to enter and pray. We are believing God for greater things and the structure of our church has never discouraged us to go ahead with the work of God especially evangelising to the children. Recently April 11 2009 we held an Easter show for the children where we showed the film of Jesus dieing for our sins, despite the devil’s efforts to frustrate our plans by causing it to rain(the rain could pass through some holes in the papyrus roof and drop on the children), the generator was too small to run a projector so we had to improvise a TV to show the more than 20 children the Jesus filmbut we thank the Lord we succeeded and many children acccepted Christ. Right now as i speak our sundayschool class is small for the children but we believe God will add us more land and we come up with a big mision. Our mission is to evangelise the young, move all over the country and reach out to the children before the devil reaches them.
When i read about the opportunity for puppets i was so excited because i have been looking for such kind of resources for our mission and i would be greatful if i won this chance, this will aid our young ministry as we donoto have much of children resources and it would make a big development in our sundayschool.
If it were possible i would send you some of the pictures of my sundayschool children on that day when they were watching the Jesus film. Its so amazing.

I teach kindergarten in a Christian school that has weekly chapels for grades K4 – 6. Each teacher takes turns giving a chapel lesson and I was extremely nervous about my first one. Teaching in front of peers and such a vast age group of children was very intimidating. How to keep the lesson simple enough for the smallest, and engaging enough for the oldest? Ministy-to-children has given me great tools and ideas on exactly what I’ve needed. I have used your website, suggestions, newsletters, and printable sermons a few times and see God’s kingdom being furthered through it.
