ed-stetzer-blogYou have heard of Lifeway VBS. But did you know they also have a research division? They just released a new study that really caught my attention. They asked non-religious parents if they would allow their children to go to church if asked by a trusted neighbor. The results were amazing:

76 percent would said yes!

As I began to think about my church’s outreach. I realized that this could easily double the number of kids we have attending on Sunday mornings.

Normally I think of outreach ideas that are expensive and complicated. But this is so much better. Just have your church people do the Christian thing and bring neighborhood kids to hear about Jesus.

You can read more about this research on Ed Stetzer’s blog. Or better yet, make sure your pastor and church leadership know about this study.
