The winner by Random.org drawing was comment #52 melissa Barlow. I’ve sent her an email. Thanks to everyone who left a comment!
I think this VBS is going to be great! I went online and watch excerpts from video of all the songs and was very impressed. This is a unique theme that they can be excited about. Kids will like the “feel” of the ambiance, music and activities. They will receive sound biblical teaching and have fun doing it because Group’s VBS programs are so well done. They keep kids’ attention. Our church is a fan of Group Publishing and has been using their VBS programs for a number of years now. The great thing is that we partner with another church nearby and bring the two congregations together to run the program. Bringing churches together and families in from the neighborhood is a great blessing. Kids have fun, the sacrificial love of God is taught, and unity is brought to the body. You can’t beat that.
It looks like fun and the water theme is perfect for our Texas summer!
I believe that this will really get students and teacher excited about VBS, I would love to use this for VBS. The theme is very energetic. I began to explore strategies after viewing the video. This will be our 1st official VBS and I believe it would set the tone for future ones.
We haven’t had a VBS is two years and we are looking into new ideas. It has been hard to get enough people interested to have enough teachers so we are looking for something that would be easy and fun to do.
Oops. I thought I was leaving a comment for the Galactic Blast!! However, I do think this program with its underwater/ocean theme is awesome. We were thinking of doing an Ocean Theme VBS this summer as we are a small church and have already been given a few items that we could use with this theme. Hope to have the chance to win and God Bless.

Love the Galactic VBS video – looks terrific!
Thank you for this review, I know that our church would really love it. The main part of our children’s ministry is off our buses, the only time they get anything spiritual is on Sunday, so we try to take advantage of the time we have during our VBS program to help these children. Also, I love the music, just the style that our church would approve of. And, most important of all, it is Bible-based.
I just read your review and saw the clip you provided. WOW is all I can say..well not really. This VBS program would please any and all kids if we were to win it for our church. Each year our VBS has a lot of new kids coming due to we are near a military base. It would be one awsome VBS if we could win this program. It is really a great theme and everyone, boys and girls alike, would love it. I think that this one would knock their air tanks off! Thank you for offering this and good luck to everyone.
The underwater theme is always an exciting one for children. It holds some sort of mystery to them (and us) and that is the way we should view the Bible. We should try to get our children to view unlocking the mysteries of the Bible like unlocking the mysteries of other things (like the ocean for instance). I think it is a great chance to teach our children valuable lessons. And maybe learn a few for ourselves.
I think the kids in our church would absolutely lovethis VBS program. The space theme is really cool, about the wonders our God has made.
I was really pleased to see the way that the material taught the Word of God in a fun and effective way where teens and youth would both understand. It seems like this would be great for adults too.
This looks like an exciting VBS which is just what we are looking for!
Thank you for taking the time to review and share this with us. It is great to hear what other pastors are saying and if it is the real deal or not.
I was impressed with this series going by your words on the video. I like the fact that the material is very Bible based and the fact that we are on the coast of Mississippi makes the theme relavent to our kids. I am sure that the music can be upgraded somehow or possibly use alternative sources.
So excited to see a fresh idea. I know mt daughter will love this theme…she’s crazy about the ocean!
Thanks for the review Tony and for the chance to win this package! I found your review after getting online to check out this program as the director of our VBS wants to use this program this year. It’s interesting your view of the music and how kids may have a hard time getting into it.
Music is one of our biggest challenges – seems like every program out there has the beat of rock and roll. We are so pleased that RBP does not – yeah!! The content seems right on, and it does not require the large sets and large # of cast members like other programs. What’s not to like? Thanks!
