Prayer for more families!! We often have new families arrive in the fall and love seeing new faces in SS. I try to send a postcard to each new student in my SS class the week they attended--just a quick "Welcome" to our class, hope to see them again, etc. I have heard many parents find it neat that we would follow up with their child. (Found some nice cards at the teacher store and I do have a postcard I keep to remind what to say as I write new ones, usually adding a few personal touches as God leads. )

LOVE the website!! Also using Children Desiring God curriculum--thank the Lord for such awesome, God centered curriculum :-)

One of the big winners I've seen is having a "Back To Sunday School Party" on the first week of the new Sunday school year.

This is in class and gives kids a chance to invite their friends to Sunday school, plus it gives teachers an excuse to call all the parents on their roster.
