Armor of God
n the Bible, the Armor of God is a metaphor for the spiritual tools that Christians can use to defend themselves against the devil and his temptations. The Armor of God is described in Ephesians 6:10-18 and a powerful theme for Sunday School Curriculum on the Armor of God.
The different parts of the Armor of God can be explained to kids in simple terms like this:
- Belt of Truth: The belt of truth is a symbol of the importance of truth in our lives. When we live in truth, we are less likely to be deceived by the devil.

- Shield of Faith: The shield of faith represents our faith in God. When we have faith, we are protected from the devil’s lies and deceptions.
- Helmet of Salvation: The helmet of salvation represents our salvation from sin. When we are saved, we are protected from the devil’s power.
- Sword of the Spirit: The sword of the Spirit represents the Word of God. When we use the Word of God, we can defeat the devil’s attacks.
The Armor of God is a powerful tool that can help us to live a victorious Christian life. By putting on the Armor of God, we can resist the devil’s attacks and stand firm in our faith.
