The fruit of the Spirit is the proof of our connection with the Lord. If we follow and love Him, evidence will be found in our lives as Christians. Spiritual fruit should bless the lives of others and make them want to know Jesus, too! These crafts recall the fruit of the spirit characteristics, and have fun with fruit as well. A fruit painting uses actual fruit for stamps. A fruit basket uses fruit cut-outs to represent the fruit of the Spirit elements. Have fun!

Why do kids need to learn the Fruit of the Spirit with Bible crafts?

The fruit of the Spirit is one of the most important pieces of Christian doctrine for kids to learn. It not only teaches them about God’s character, but also about how they should live their lives. Bible crafts are a great way to help kids understand and remember the fruit of the Spirit. There are nine fruits of the Spirit mentioned in Galatians 5:22-23: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Each one is part of God’s character and something that we should aspire to as well. Bible crafts can teach kids about each fruit and help them remember what it means.
