Joy to the World was written by Issac Watts and first published in 1719.
Silent Night was a German hymns, our English version came out in 1859.
O Holy Night began as a French poem and also made the jump in the 1850’s.
Away in a Manger was published in 1885 in a kids Sunday School hymn book.
