This activity helps children understand the metaphor of Jesus being the bread of life from John 6:35. They make two booklets, one showing how food meets our physical needs and one showing how Jesus meets our spiritual needs. This Bible craft would be an excellent activity for our lesson plan on John 3:35.

- Print one copy of the booklet pages for each child (picture 1).
- Have each child cut out the bread-shaped pages and sort them into two piles according to which booklet they go in (picture 2). The order of the pages doesn’t really matter.
- Staple the pages together to make two small booklets (picture 3). Be sure to write each child’s name on the booklets since they are all identical.
