This morning, I was reading the story of Jesus feeding the 5,000 in Luke 9:10-17 during my own Bible reading. I got this picture in my head about how many people that Jesus fed, and that was just the men! I think it would be a great visual to show to your students as you teach them about this miracle that Jesus performed.
I created this simple picture with 50 tally marks in groups. I was able to fit 10 groups on a page. So if you are going to show this to your students, you will need to print out 10 pages to make the 5,000. This should really show your students the magnitude of this feat.

I also created a visual of the food before the feeding and the food afterwards. I don’t think most people realize that they ended up with more food than what they began with and this visual should show that.
