Here are several simple songs about God’s creation that children can sing at church. They can be used with a Sunday School lesson about creation or in children’s church. These might be especially helpful for preschool Sunday school songs.
These songs were collected from several sources around the Internet. If you have another to share leave it in the comment section below.
God Made Me and All of You
sing to the tune of “London Bridge”
God made me and all of you
All of you,
All of you,
God made me and all of you.
He loves us!
(point to self and others when you say me and you. Hug self at the end)
He made frogs and birdies too
Birdies too,
Birdies too,
He made frogs and birdies too
Cheep! Cheep! Cheep!
(Hop around like frogs/flap around like birds)
God Made Me
(Make a sun above your head by placing your hands together)
GOD MADE THE SUN!
(Make wave motions with your hands at your side)
GOD MADE THE SEA!
(Place the palms of your hands together and wiggle them like a fish)
GOD MADE THE FISHEYS!
(Point to your chest)
AND GOD MADE ME!
(Make a sun above your head by placing your hands together)
THANK YOU FOR THE SUN!
(Make wave motions with your hands at your side)
THANK YOU FOR THE SEA!
(Place the palms of your hands together and wiggle them like a fish)
THANK YOU FOR THE FISHEYS!
(Point to your chest)
AND THANK YOU FOR ME!!!
He’s Got the Whole World in His Hands
He’s got the whole world in His hands,
He’s got the whole world in His hands,
He’s got the whole world in His hands,
He’s got the whole world in His hands!
He’s got the itty, bitty, baby in His hands,
He’s got the itty, bitty baby in His hands,
He’s got the itty, bitty baby in His hands,
He’s got the whole world in His hands!
He’s got momma and papa in His hands,
He’s got momma and papa in His hands,
He’s got momma and papa in His hands,
He’s got the whole world in His hands!
He’s got you and me, sister, in his hands,
He’s got you and me, sister, in his hands,
He’s got you and me, sister, in his hands,
He’s got the whole world in His hands!
Jesus Made Me Just Like Him
To the tune of “Jesus Loves Me.” Touch each part as you sing.
Jesus made me just like Him
Eyes and ears and nose and chin
Hands and fingers, feet and toes
Heart that loves and hair that grows.
Yes, Jesus loves me
Yes, Jesus loves me
Yes, Jesus loves me
He made me just like Him.

Thank you for the great site. I think we can use this site a lot. Thanks also for the lesson on using your site. I’ll send this on to my friends.
thanks for the resources, very nice and a blessing……to be consistent with the Creation Day #1 lesson plan (difference between Create and Make), I suggest changing the words “made” to “created” in the following songs: God Made Me and All of You; God Made Me; Jesus Made Me Just Like Him,

Thanks stacks, CM. It’s awesome – your teaching materials and the songs. I am definitely using them for my lesson tomorrow ie topic on creation. Regards from Singapore! God Bless. :)
Anyone remember this one: “On the first day God made light,
And created the day and night.
The night for sleeping, the day to see,
And God said, ‘It looks good to me.’
It is good, it is good, it is good,
God made it and said it’s good.
(Can’t remember any of the other verses!) Such a fun song, as different children can do the verses, and all join in on the chorus.
Thank you so much for the teaching material, i am about to start a sunday school at my home, mostly preschoolers have enrolled for it, and i have been wondering how to go about with it. Thank you so much for the wonderful curriculum, the creation topic would be great to start with, and thanks for the songs as well. Great effort, God Bless :)
i really have a great time downloading all the lessons for Sunday because of the mere fact that we, here in the Philippines, lack Teachers’ materials for kids Sunday School. In fact, we are going to make use of the DVBS material of terri Merril entitled bible Boot Camp on the armor of god as our DVBS lessons. thank you so much for you effort in putting this materials in the Internet.
I love Jesus alot and I want to be part of it cause I whant to be with jesus thank you very much and i love to make songs and more about Jesus.

does anyone remember “I’m no kin to the monkey”?
it goes boom boom boom i’m no kin to the monkey the monkey’s no kin to me…….i dont know about your ancestors but mine didnt swing from a tree.
i cant remember the middle part does anyone else remember?
there is to much focus on evolution right now satan is so on the advance. we need to stay in battle mode.last month my grandchildren were at the science museum and my daughter was explaing that we think God made the earth in 7 days and a young couple started follwing them all around making remarks you must be stupid christians, and meaner things. that is eveilness with boldness to speak to children like that anf it will only get worse. teach
your children if man really evolved from apes then why are there still apes?
when did “nature”decide there was enough man and stop making them and go back to apes being apes?
that is a good come back when they hear about evolution.
I
This monkey business has got to go
Because God’s Word is true
It’s a disgrace to the monkeys
A disgrace to the human race, too!
Brenda,
i read your comment about evolution..and your are right about satan…our VBS this year is about us not coming from apes…visit the website http://www.answersingenesis.org this is the CREATION MUESUM IN HEBRON KENTUCKY. I myself have not been but i know others that have and enjoyed it very much. They have a song book with different songs about the creation and one that says (there are no monkeys in my family tree). check it out and see if this helps you out any.
sincerely
Lynn
thanks Belinda…..I never really knew how to respond to anyone who said that we (humans) evolved from apes…you make some very good points here.
Thank you so much! This is great curriculum!
