I have been pondering over ideas for Mother’s Day, and I think it would be interesting to teach children about the remarkable mothers mentioned in the Bible. One way to do this is by creating a crossword puzzle that includes the names of these mothers. You can print out copies of the puzzle for each student in your class and give them time to find all the names. Once they have found all the names, you can go over each name and the story behind it together as a class.
