Craft Ideas 2 Thessalonians 2 Hope of the Second Coming

Print Friendly and PDF

Jesus is coming back someday! We know this, but there are many details of the Second Coming that we do not and cannot fully know.  We trust that He will return, but meanwhile hope in His daily presence and love for us. These crafts reflect that hope and trust. A “proclaim the goodnews trumpet” contains a listening and speaking component to reflect on our responsibility as Gospel proclaimers. A “Prayer Bank Cloud” considers the eventual coming of Christ and offers a vehicle for collecting thoughts and reflections.

Verses or Captions to Consider… (2 Thessalonians 2:1-5, 13-17)

children\'s ministry curriculum

But we ought always to thank God for you, brothers and sisters loved by the Lord, because God chose you as firstfruits to be saved through the sanctifying work of the Spirit and through belief in the truth. 14 He called you to this through our gospel, that you might share in the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.  -2 Thessalonians 2:13-14

Jesus will return some day…He’s with us now, so watch and pray!

Proclaim the Good News!

Pray for all people!

Listen to God!
