Our hope is that you will download, print, and use in your children’s ministry, Sunday School, or family devotions.
Why did Mandy want to illustrate Isaiah 9?
I chose to use Isaiah 9 because of its rich language and deep hope for us during the Advent season. This passage has been the inspiration of a treasured hymn that our family loves.
Isaiah 9:1-2 New International Version (NIV)
For to Us a Child Is Born

2 The people walking in darkness
Isaiah 9 NIV
have seen a great light;
on those living in the land of deep darkness
a light has dawned.
