We often teach children how Jesus came to Earth to live and die for us. However, we don’t always elaborate the essential reasons behind why He did so. The sacrifices Christ made for us included relinquishing a Heavenly throne in order to embrace humanity and take the punishment for our wrongdoing. These crafts aim to recount those essential truths. A “Journey of Jesus Wheel” traces His life, death, and resurrection. A “Cost of the Cross Collage” uses the cross to recall His tremendous love and gift to us.
Bible Verses or Craft Captions to Consider… (Hebrews 1:1-4; 2:5-12 )
But we do see Jesus, who was made lower than the angels for a little while, now crowned with glory and honor because he suffered death, so that by the grace of God he might taste death for everyone. -Hebrews 2:9
Jesus paid the price! He takes my sins and makes me shiny and new!
Journey of Jesus…
He came down from Heaven
…He showed the way!
He died on the cross
…My sins to Pay
He returned to heaven
…and will come for us one day!
