A thoughtful card is a wonderful way to commemorate special days like Father’s Day. What a great time to teach kids to honor their fathers! Use the verses to show kids that God is their Heavenly Father and that He loves them! If you’ve decided to lead your kids in a Dad’s Day card craft, have some of these original poems and treasured Bible verses on hand. Print them out on card stock or on colorful paper. Kids can cut and glue the verses and poems they like most, then take them home to Dad. Don’t forget to tweak a few for grandfathers since Grandpa pays a big role in some families.
I love it when my Daddy
Picks me up in his arms
When Daddy is close by
He keeps me from harm
Thank you God for Daddy
He’s the best Dad in the world!
May God bless my Dad
He’s a good, good man
Dear God, bless my Dad
By your mighty hand!
I love you Dad
You’ve been there for me
Whenever I fall down and skin my knee
I love you Dad
You always make me smile
Especially when you hold me and call me your child
