The final week in the “Church Calendar” celebrates that Jesus is the king, not of an Earthly kingdom, but of Heaven and our lives. These crafts honor Christ as King, as well as the “New Year” joy of the church. A homemade “party cracker” and “pinata” celebrate the new church year, and a crown recalls our Savior and King.
Bible Verses or Captions to Consider… (John 18:33-37)
Then Pilate said to him, “So you are a king?” Jesus answered, “You say that I am a king. For this purpose I was born and for this purpose I have come into the world—to bear witness to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth listens to my voice.” -John 18:37
His kingdom is not of this world…
Jesus Christ is KING!
King of Heaven and King of my heart!
Happy Church New Year!
