This coloring sheet is perfect for talking about the important role of the Christian pastor.  The pastor faces spiritual dangers and emotional stress unlike many other callings. You can explain to the children how God calls people to different types of work and some of these are religious jobs.

You might also enjoy our original “Pastor Appreciation” coloring page.

This could be used anytime of year, but might be especially helpful for pastor appreciation day. If you enjoy this resource, please tell a friend about our Christian coloring pages. You can also leave a commentsaying thanks to Mandy for her excellent artwork.

    Hi Mandy,

    Thank you for the coloring page! Our kids colored them and stuck them all over our pastor’s office and we left him many bags of goldfish crackers (One of his favorite snacks) as our way of saying, “Thank you for being our pastor.”

    Thank Mandy for the wonderful drawing we are able to use in our Church freely. My church is in the remotest part of Northern Kenya, Marsabit. Where we are faced with drought and other problems due to inflation too.

    Thank again

    again, this 2nd option is a MALE minister; pls advise — if u do NOT make information applicable to BOTH MALE & FEMALE ministers, u can delete me from ur list and send no more info;
    we (as many churches here in SW-PA) have a FEMALE pastor!

  12. Linda Johnson says

    Dear Mandy (and Tony if you see this)
    Thank you for the wonderful resources and pictures available through this ministry. I would like to say, however, that neither one of the pictures provided for pastor appreciation is really suitable for my church. We do not practise immersion baptism, as a general rule, so the children would not understand that picture. Neither does our pastor “bless?” the children as they file by him. He does sit down with them and share the gospel with them and pray with them. I belong to a Presbyterian church (Canada) which is still pretty traditional in a lot of ways. We do have an open platform at the front of the church and we use projectors and contemporary music as part of our blended worship services. Just a note to maybe try to be a little more inclusive in your artwork. There are still a lot of traditional churches out there who could be looking for something new to use in their Sunday School programs .
    Thank you for the opportunity to share my thoughts. God bless you in your ministry.
    Linda <
