Surprise Hallelujah Chorus at Mall Food Court
What would happen if the worship of Christ invaded a shopping Mall at Christmastime?
Watch the video below and you can see firsthand. Turn up your computer speaker and enjoy! It’s really an amazing experience. I love how all the regular shoppers join in as the song continues.

Two things I love about the Christmas season. The sense of community and the joy that comes from a good surprise. That more than anything else is what keeps the festive feeling of the season. That’s not to diminish the reality of Christ’s incarnation – he’s the ultimate expression of those two.

Was it just me? SURELY that field was ripe for harvest . . . ? I was dying for someone to say something at the end – just 45 seconds, a sound bite, “God is here ! This is the good news ! And He wants each of us – lock, stock, and barrell, cos He loves us SO much . . . ”
As for me, if I had been there, (I pray) I would have stood on a chair, tried to call order, and at least thanked those singers and whoever organised them for bringing us SUCH a wonder-ful glimpse of heaven . . . or were they angels in disguise? Either way, I’m afraid I would have unashamedly bawled my eyes out . . . like I did a few minutes ago ! HALLELUJAH !
This is what Christmas should really be about, the sharing of ones soul through a song from ones heart!!!!!
Just beautiful!
This moves me on so many different levels. The first time I saw it, I stood up…just couldn’t help it. Even now, my eyes are welling up.
Thanks for sending this my way again. I needed the extra “boost” this morning.
What an awesome video and what a witness.
Blessings
What a ministry. This may be the only real representation of what Christmas really is that some may hear/see this season. Tears came. :)
I would like to say, that was totally wonderful! You know there are still people that acknowledge the freedom IN GOD WE TRUST and are not ashamed of the gospel of Christ for it is the power of God unto salvation!! And what Honor it gives the King worshiping Him in the presence of a society that says take God out, and bring our tradition and our ways in!! And to join in and submit their voices to the KING of KINGS and LORD of LORDS wow, I know it pleased GOD, to see and hear the sacrifice of praise through that awesome song!! For it tells who and what HE is!! Amen ! and AMEN It sure blessed my husband and I. If we had been there we would of sure joined in.
Goosebumps!!
I would have loved it. I was thrilled to watch this video. It brought tears to my eyes.
I WOULD HAVE JOINED IN! LOVED IT!
That was awesome!!! I almost started crying!
I would have felt more Blessed than I already do at this very moment. I just watched the video, and watching the ppl at the food court, and the children, hearing the song just made my heart ring for joy. I truly miss Christmas Caroling. We did it all the time when I was a child. Put the CHRIST in Christmas where it belongs at this time of the year, and each and EVERY day….
I experienced it first hand in Nordstrom’s at Northpark Mall in Dallas, TX today! It was absolutely moving and one of the coolest things I’ve ever been a part of….in this day and time….we need to do this more often! Happy Holidays! Smiles of joy…..
I still listen to this at least 10 times a week, still get tears in my eyes. Youtube video has over 22 million hits its awesome!
That was awesome!!! I wud love to see more public appearances. Who were they? Thank you. Loved it and Im not an opera person.
I would have chills run through me at first, marveling at the beautiful singing and courage to proclaim Christ’s birth for all to hear. Then, I would refocus on why we celebrate Christmas. Jesus, the Son of God, becoming one of us! Awesome.
This is amazing! When the King of kings and Lord of lords is present,
everyone is united! I love this video!
