To keep things simpler this year, I ordered my crafts from Oriental Trading company. But I still need movement games or activities to get the kids involved before the Easter presentation (drama). I have considered the ressurrection eggs, but we could have 30 kids per class, and that could be a little nutty… Any ideas?

Great question. I’m so short on time I hardly plan for extra games. We sing a great deal.
Another idea is an agree/disagree activity. Make a list of statements, some true and some false, about Easter. As you read each statement have the kids stand if they agree that it’s true - or they will sit with arms crossed if the statement is not ture.
One alternative to this for a smaller class would have one side of the room designated agree and the other as disagree. That way they get more active and out of their seats for a little while during the lesson.

Thanks, Tony! My creative arts team decided to go in the same direction… we will have more singing and drama, so we will have less time for games as well. Thanks for the ideas, we will be sure to use it another week.
