The Perfect Father – The Lord’s Prayer Part 1
See the related Sunday School Lesson on “Our Perfect Father in Heaven”

The Lord’s Prayer is a wonderful and helpful example of how we can pray. It opens with a reminder that God is our Heavenly Father, who cares for us and listens to each of us as if we were His only child. These crafts celebrate the Lord’s Prayer and what it means to be a Father. A “Jacob’s Sons Lineup” craft recounts the twelve tribes of Israel (and sons of a great Biblical patriarch). A “Lord’s Prayer Spinner” helps children recall the parts of the Lord’s Prayer and what they mean. Let’s get crafty!

Craft One: Jacob’s Sons Lineup

  3. Decorate the circle with verses, captions, and titles. Add sticker decorations, if desired.
  4. Cut a segment out of the paper that will expose one “slice” at a time of the prayer.
  5. Use a brad fastener to attach the circle to the plate. Use to discuss, pray, and memorize the Lord’s Prayer.
