Bible Crafts: Be Faithful! The Fruit of the Spirit Part 7

These crafts are a reminder of what it means to be faithful. Faithfulness can refer to several things, but always involves loyalty and commitment. We can be faithful friends, and most importantly, we should strive to be faithful to God, as He is faithful to us. A “Faithfulness Rainbow” recounts God’s faithfulness to His promises. A “Faithful Friends Pear Pair” serves as a fun memento to share with others. Let’s get crafty!

Craft One: Faithfulness Rainbow

You will need:

  • Paper plates
  • Construction paper or cardstock
  • Staples, glue, or tape
  • Balloons (optional)
  • Scissors
  • Decorative elements as desired
  • Cotton Balls
  • Markers or crayons

Procedure:
1. Decorate the plate (or paper/cardstock) with colors to represent the rainbow.
2. Cut the rainbow into an arc shape, and glue cotton balls on the ends to look like clouds.
3. Add extra decorations, including a balloon “water drop,” if desired.
4. Add verses and captions to the final product. You may also add a string or magnet to make the decoration easier to hang and display.

Craft Two: “Faithfulness Pear Pair” Card

You will need:

  • Crayons or markers
  • Glue or tape (optional)
  • Stickers or similar decorations
  • Construction paper or cardstock
  • Yarn or string (optional)
  • Scissors

Procedure:

  1. Cut the paper or cardstock into the shape of a pear, hinged at the center so that two pears are visible (you may also just cut two pears).
  2. Decorate the pears with color, stickers, and captions, making one picture or sentence out of the two sides of the pears.
  3. Cut the pears (if they are not already separated) so that there are two parts present.
  4. If desired, attach a string (for a necklace) or magnet to each pear.
  5. Give one side to a friend, to let them know of your faithfulness and thoughtfulness toward them.

Bible Verses or Captions to Consider…

But you, O Lord, are a God merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness. -Psalm 86:15

We make a great “pear!” Thank you for being a faithful friend.

God is faithful! The rainbow reminds me of His promises.

God keeps His promises. His faithfulness endures!

Thank you for your faithfulness!
