Teaching Skits of Jesus' Birth from Luke 1 & 2
As Christmas approaches, we will be going through the birth of Jesus. This year, I wanted to give my students a bigger picture of His birth, including before His birth, His birth, and directly after His birth. I have put together a list of teaching skits, from the book of Luke, that will help our students to understand all that surrounded our Savior’s birth.
You can use one skit or all of them. Each link below opens the printable PDF version of each. Use whatever you find useful in your classroom to teach your children in an active and fun way about this most important event that changed the world forever!

  1. Birth of John the Baptist Foretold Skit (Luke 1:5-25)
  2. Birth of Jesus Foretold Skit (Luke 1:26-38)
  3. Mary Visits Elizabeth Skit (Luke 1:39-56)
  4. Birth of John the Baptist Skit(Luke 1:57-80)
  5. Birth of Jesus Skit (Luke 2:1-7)
  6. Shepherds and Angels Skit (Luke 2:8-21)
  7. Jesus Presented at the Temple Skit (Luke 2:22-40)
