Hi Wayne,
Great article! I love your perspective on ministering to children and how God uses you to reach children for Him. I work at Awana headquarters as a Web copywriter. I am working on a project for our 60th anniversary celebration and gathering profiles on Awana leaders and alumni for the 60th Web site. I'd love to write a profile on you and celebrate your faithful Awana service. I can e-mail you a profile if you just give me your contact info. Feel free to contact me at kima@awana.org.
Blessings,
Kim Anderson

I've advocated talking and listening (mostly listening) to preschoolers and kindergartners. It's so important to building relationships, as you mentioned. But I've never thought of that as "spiritual" time. Thanks for the new insight.

Kristin,

Thanks. I'm glad you enjoyed it. Every once in a while (actually more often than that) God throws a reminder my way, and this was one of those moments! I think sometimes it is so easy to get caught up in the ultimate goal that we lose sight of the moments and the relationships that can easily lead to that goal. Thanks again for the encouragement!
