Here is a simple Father’s Day card that you could have your Kindergarten – 1st graders make for their dads. Simply print it out and give to each of your children. You could have them glue it to construction paper or simply copy it onto colored paper. Devotional: The Bible is a VERB

My son was learning about parts of speech this year. We started with nouns: people, places, and things. Then we moved onto verbs: action. That’s what got me thinking about the Bible. Most people think that it’s a noun. Well, it’s a thing, right? Technically, yes. It’s a book made of paper and binding. But, I believe that the Bible is a verb. “But prove yourselves doers of the word, and not merely hearers who delude themselves.”

Mothers of the Bible Crossword Puzzle – Free Printable

I have been pondering over ideas for Mother’s Day, and I think it would be interesting to teach children about the remarkable mothers mentioned in the Bible. One way to do this is by creating a crossword puzzle that includes the names of these mothers. You can print out copies of the puzzle for each student in your class and give them time to find all the names. Once they have found all the names, you can
